Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

Thank you for your commitment and for volunteering to coach our youth for St Eugene's CYO. 

Below you will find compliance requirements for returning and new coaches.  All requirements listed needed to be completed by the deadline of October 1st or you will not be allowed to coach. The Diocese makes no exceptions on deadlines. 

Returning Coaches from last season:  Congrats to all returning coaches! This year we will all need to re-take the online courses to be able to coach. To re-take the test please go to the following link. Be sure to log in using your previous login credentials. If you create a new one your fingerprints won't be linked and you will be out of compliance.  www.cmgconnect.org

All new coaches/parent back ups:  Please complete compliance requirements listed below for the upcoming basketball season. There are 4 steps listed below to complete for coaching compliance. You must register on two different websites, and complete all items listed below. Although at first this process may appear cumbersome, it really isn't and it's for the safety of our youth. Thank you again for your dedication, time and for volunteering. 

1).  Register on Sportsngin- Register for the upcoming CYO Basketball Season. Click on the “NEXT” button at the bottom of the page to begin.

2).  Concussion Course:  Please complete the Concussion course on the Sportngin registration page.

3).  New Coach/Parent (Asst. coaches , back-up) must Register with Diocese CYO (steps below): 

Go to this web site-  www.cmgconnect.org

Select “Santa Rosa” as the diocese.

Create an account.

Do the Online Training

After completing the registration, you will prompted with two training courses:

Go to the  the link-   www.cmgconnect.org  

Use the “Sign In” link and log in.

Select “My Training” from left hand column.

Select the two require trainings; Safe Environment Training and Defensive Driving Curriculum  – Santa Rosa training module.

Take the training.

Also complete the Code of Conduct  that should follow after the Safe Environment module.

4). Fingerprinting requirements: You will need to take the FINGERPRINT FORM, (be sure to let them know it’s a Live Scan) located at the link below to TruScan at 2324 Fourth Street almost across from Safeway, and be cleared by the fingerprinting process. We have an open P.O. there for free fingerprint services for potential coaches.  It takes some time to clear, so do it immediately if you plan to coach this season.  Assistant coaches must follow the same protocol as head coach is to be cleared.  FINGERPRINT FORM Link-

Deadline October1st, there are no extensions, so be sure to complete all steps as the deadline will come up quickly.
